Ferdinand and Miranda meet in one of the many canyons. He's shipwrecked and wandering aimlessly. “Welcome to the island of Tabula Rasa!" Miranda anounces. A mynah bird lands on Miranda’s shoulder ..repeating the words: “Pay attention ... Pay attention.” Prospera taught all the birds to say that … a reminder to be present.
